M35 Headlight standard/E-code question So because I'm a sucker for punishment, I want to bring a car into Canada that was never brought to my continent and has an engine that never left Japan. As a daily while I work on a build. Specifically, a 250t RS FOUR V. Because we have some interesting import laws here, I'm wondering if any of you can let me know if the M35 headlights have an E-Code marking anywhere on the housing? Specifically the E in a circle as shown in the pictures attached. I'm almost certain they don't, but it's worth a shot. If not, does anyone know of any headlight assemblies from other models of cars that may/will fit without serious fab work, and ideally won't look terrible? Thanks all. ----- EDIT It looks like the Xenon headlights are marked as DOT compliant on the ballasts, so I may be able to get those passed and get new internal assemblies or reverse the internals for the cutoffs. I'm still curious as to if the assemblies (especially the halogens) are marked with E-codes though.

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has complied a car through these guys? If so what was your experience? I have a r32 GTR booked in to be complied by them (when it finally is arrives) and was not sure what to expect. Any experiences would be appreciated. Cheers

A seriously good lesson to be learned; Dont trust dealers Do your homework on any car you want to buy Dont be evil - own up if you make a mistake, dont pass that shit on to somebody else. Don't trust dealers Any car plate / compliance / purchase horror stories like this one?

Hi all, Looking at moving from nz to western Australia and bringing my s14 200sx with me. I'm pretty sure nz got the same spec 200sx but without the ADR tags. So, I'll need to fit a high flow cat? Of do I wait until it arrives in strata for this? What's the go with minor panel damage? She's had a bit of a hard life nothing structual just dented guards.do I need to get it panel beaten or would it be OK? I'm assuming a rear fibreglass bumper and missing front bumper reinforcement would be a problem but I'll get that sorted. Last things are I have a hks ssqv bov that vents externally which I believe is illegal in oz? I can get an adaptor and reroute it into the air intake if neccesary. And I have a hole in the battery tray- battery's in the boot- for the intercooler piping. I plan on welding in a section of steel with a pressed factory hole I cut off a wreck so it looks factory. Bringing a SA adm s15 to VIC Hi fellows, First post in this forum. I'm located in Melbourne and currently looking at buying a ADM s15 located in SA. The seller says it'd be better to check if the car can be compiled in VIC beforehand to avoid hassles. So my question is that is the compliance standards in VIC and SA pretty much the same? Even they're not the same, getting a SA registered s15 on the roads in VIC wouldn't be too difficult, right? Or otherwise, what is the best way for me to check if it can be compiled in VIC?
