Hey mate,

I pm'd you in regards to a airbox will take one of the complete aloy ones if you have one ready i need it immediately please pm with details. Will this cover a rather large trust pod filter.

Regards,

Daniel

Unfortunately after a whole night of umming and arring... I am saddened to say that this box will not fit the R34GTT :) Main culprit preventing this is the radiator overflow bottle which is in the way big time.

I really can't be bothered hacking away at this thing to make it fit as I'm quite sure the finish would not be satisfactory. I'll just make up my own box ~ I will however comment on the quality of this item by Mr_Crust, excellent value for money in my opinion!

Anyways, if any of you guys are in need of one for the R33, I have one available (clear top in polycarbonate). Only one available as I no longer need it, contact if interested. All other enquiries to Mr_Crust please :D

Guys, if anyone is after one of these boxes for an R33 (w/ clear polycarbonate lid), please let me know.

I purchased mine earlier this week from mr crust, but unfortunately it doesn't fit properly on my car as I have a new turbo and the hose to the afm isn't as long as the std item which means the pod doesn't sit fully within the box. I don't really want to fork out extra cash to replace a perfectly fine hose (I only did the upgrade a few months ago), so it's available if someone would like to purchase it.

I will also comment that the quality of this product is well worth the money in my opinion. I'm just dissapointed that I couldn't get it to fit! :D

Anyway, I'm located in Sydney, please PM me if you're interested. All other enquiries to mr crust :D

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
