Hi all..

My cousin drained my trans while it and the engine was out.. I wanted to replace it anyway but how much oil do the 5 speed manuals for the RB25DET hold?

That stuff is damn expensive and don't want to buy too much...

You'd have plenty spare from a 5L bottle. From memory, when mine was changed, it was about 2-3L?

Everyone is switching to using Redline oil at $130 for 5L I think? If you can afford that sort of money, it would probably be the best stuff to use, and you'd have some spare afterwards.

Go the redline, I used almost the full bottle in my line.

So many different opinions... I've been told from 2.5 ltrs to 4-5 ltrs!! Who is right and who is wrong!?

Surely someone knows.....

There's no way it will hold 4-5 litres...

It has to be less then that...
