I haven't seen anyone fitting these on and everyone seems to be going straight to 550cc aftermarket injectors when upgrading their injectors due to new turbos.

However if one would want something in the low 200rwkw power output, would a Z32 480cc injectors fit onto RB25DET and do the job just fine?

Well I've been close to 90% injector duty for 192rwkw with std turbos.

With a 2535 going in, I'd imagine something has to be done in the injector department. Not sure if simply fitting a Nismo FPR will give a bit more room?

i read in a hpi magazine that you can use rx7 injectors... not sure what year model though... the article was talking about tuning a gtr to a budget...

also one quick question how do you find out the duty cycle of the injectors

SG just look on the HC for the PFC to find duty cycle.

Rianto, sounds like a problem with the fuel pump or delivery. I was running 85% @220rwkw using a malpassi rising rate adjustable reg. I also have a GTR pump.

Space Goat - If it's the gtr, I think they have different injectors for RB26 compared to RB25. They normally won't fit vice versa, but I could be wrong as I heard someone using RX7 injectors as well but not sure on RB25/26.

Geoff, I have a Bosch 950 installed in tank, but still with a std FPR. So I'm sure there's no problem with fuel pump, should I upgrade to a Nismo FPR or equiv? RPM set my boost at around 10 or 11 psi as I told him I don't wanna blow my std turbo just yet while I'm looking for a HKS2535.

race_snooze: that's a good number for a std pump & fpr. what turbo n boost u ran?

rs73 - My car was running fine with the Stock R33 injectors provided you have a bigger fuel pump for the returning.

with a GT2530 , standard regulator, FMIC, the usual upgrades and aftermarket computer was about to achieve about 260kw at the wheels with about 93% of the cycle so would still have alittle left to push it too.

It's all about the tuning. you can make the most of the tuning and at the same produce enough power for a reliable engine as well.

i just had some work done to my at uas with standard injectors, walbro pump and fpr using power fc and new turbo. it pulled 261.3rwkw with almost max inj duty 90%

show us the dyno graph. have your injectors been high flowed? power seems to high for stock injectors.

Does anyone with those power figure knows if it's done in shootout mode? My 192rwkw was not done in shootout. I was told it will actually read higher in shootout mode however I don't know by how many kw higher.

    • Evening, wanted to pop in and finally register to say hi to everyone here on SAU!   It's been a while since I've been active on a forum, but back in the day I used to be relatively active on ClubLexus and other hobby-related forums. I'm glad to see SAU is still around, since with the advent of Facebook and Discord it seems forums aren't what they once were. As a recent new owner of an S1 260RS Stagea, I've found so many older guides and helpful tips from SAU that I figured I needed to join and say a grave thank you. My recent acquisition has only become legal in the US for the past year, and knowing that similar car enthusiasts from across the pond have already figured out the kinks and tricks to get these 25+ year old cars running well. I look forward to diving into more of the SAU forums as well as hopefully contribute some info myself for future posterity.   As a pic tax, here is one of the few good photos I have of my Stagea. I hope to get way more in the future!
    • Is this where I say "Hey man my airbox cost me horsepower in my Naturally Aspirated Engine"? (I know you need them for legality in NSW)
    • 1.5mm alloy folded up, it will need a tweek, as the angled bend only got to around 45° as that was the max that the break press would get with the other bends, and I needed a fair bit more, but and the alloy is easy to bend too my will by hand once I trim the lower section out I'll Dremel out and form the angle and mounting point on the lower section when time permits  As for the lid, I'm looking at going a "cap", instead of a flat lid to hide the fixtures a bit
    • I got sick of thinking about batteries so just kept buying chargers. I've got a ctek (racecar), a "noco" thing from supercheap (tow car with 2 batteries), and an old "SupaCharge" branded lead acid thing (farm ute/mower) and will need 1 more when the Silvia gets a battery again (if the 86 stays).  I always make sure the charger itself is in free space/away from car etc, just to be sure.
