[There was a private GT-T for sale in Ballarat. Saw it at carpoint.com.au. It was the GTR Purple, looked very, very l337! :D I'll try and find it... [/b]

I have inquired about that one.. the lady has gone over seas and her cousin was meant to call me when she came down from Sydney.

It's actually her b/f's car i think and it was in the auto salo for stereo comp.

it has blitz exhaust, hks filter bov, blitz turbo timer, but subbies have been removed.

yeah. Dark and creation, there is that one. But there was also another purple, pretty sure it was different. I can remember a 'Bendigo' or 'Ballarat', i think :D

maybe it was at autotrader.com.au....

purple looks bloody good on the R34 tho, very nice.

oh and creation, what car is going to be urs??

I think he means the silver one that started this thread, with the gold wheels :D

I was considering silver also, "titanium" nissan calls it, looks nice. I test drove a nice modified white 34 one too...but it was outta my price range [they wouldnt accept my offer of $37K would you believe?]. Had HKS fully adjustable suspension, 18inch wheels, tommy k stuff etc...I did prefer black, especially when you see them in the flesh, white is nice but black - i just had to have :)

I didn't think there were many Skylines for sale here. There are a few in car yards. Looking at that first pic, I know where that is! That is not exactly one of Ballarats "nice" suburbs

It's basically right near the freeway to melbourne.... I have been looking for a gtt for a while on the net and in the unique cars magazine and this is the cheapest so far. Just need to confirm that it is not dodgy.. i'm a bit bias as the looks have me hooked already.

I was last in Ballarat / Sebas 2 weeks ago and let me tell you I have never seen so many R34's in the one area. Most of them for sale too. On the road between Sebas / Ballarat I saw 2 r34 GTR's and 4 r34GTT's...I thought I was in heaven :D There are a few importers in the area, also compliancers and wreckers too, that all deal with 34's atm...there are also usually advertised cars for sale on the net from the b'rat area! [carpoint etc].

this was around 35k plus on roads. had the bodykit, 17 inch sparco rims, exhaust, springs and stereo.. yellow is also pretty rare they always seem to go for more.

the yellow is going for $38500 from ballarat.. i am considering that as well.

    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
    • Yeah - I mean, go the other way. Smaller range. Not larger.
    • To re-cap, I bought: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Lsailt-8G-Infiniti-Q50-Q60-2014_1601171829627.html?spm=a2756.trade-list-buyer.0.0.2cd476e9FTIlKE As you can see, if I bought 20 it was $653, but I bought 1 so it was $1,170. I was very tempted to buy 2 and resell 1 at 25% cheaper. @MBS206, I am not sure if they do a Kluger one, here is their list but it might be there under a global model name: http://www.lsailt.com/product/android-interface?page=1 Keep in mind these full android replacements have basically all the bits a phone does (cpu, ram, storage, wifi, bluetooth, usb interfaces) other than a screen (it uses a host), thus the $800+ cost. Android Auto screen mirroring is MUCH cheaper as it's just a cut down shell, input mirroring and output mirroring BTW I also need that "screen off" feature, it is much harder to see wildlife even if a dash is reasonably dark. Both the Fuga and V37 have display off buttons for night use, they just come back on for a second or 3 if you interact with it, eg skip a song.
    • I use FCC car launcher. It has an option for different backgrounds, so instead of turning the screen off you can swipe 'up' to a black screen with no background/icons. (mine has the time on it only). It's kinda nice. Also lets you use gestures to say swipe to go to next song, etc.
