Thats the great thing about the Tomei Poncams they will work without any other head mods and will retain the VCT on the intake... but as Bass has said make sure you order the ones for the 34... also be prepared to wait for them to be shipped as Nengun and Greenline didn't have any in stock when I ordered and they took ages to arrive

Youo shouldn't really need the compression drop.

My 250rwkw = about 335 hp at the wheels, which equals about 450 hp at the fly, and I have the stock gasket.

If you are going for massive bulk grunt then, yeah a boost friendly gasket would be handy.

What sort of Turbo are you looking at running?

My First Idea was to make a Beast about 600-700hp with the HKS T51R

but im scared about all changes what i need to do so i still resell it

yes right now is in

HKS TUBRO KIT PRO GT2835ProS

make my next things and think then i will make my first Dynorun...

and Dynoset up for all the details

what turbo you run Pete??

Dyno

HKS T51R

1000 rpm - Nothing

2000 rpm - Nothing

3000 rpm - Nothing

4000 rpm - Nothing

5000 rpm - Nothing

6000 rpm - Boosting

7000 rpm - Hang the fark on

8000 rpm - Engine go BANG!

I'm running a highflowed standard Turbo with Steel impellor and compressor wheels

HKS T51R

1000 rpm  -  Nothing

2000 rpm  -  Nothing

3000 rpm  -  Nothing

4000 rpm  -  Nothing

5000 rpm  -  Nothing

6000 rpm  -  Boosting

7000 rpm  -  Hang the fark on

8000 rpm  -  Engine go BANG!

I'm running a highflowed standard Turbo with Steel impellor and compressor wheels

I have See a Video Befor A R32 with the T51R...

then

The plans was real bit only for drag with Forged Parts in all the Engine Antilag and more then i think about the money and Transmissions and im was thinking how stupid im..

Dyno

Z32 AFM 80mm inlet

and Q45 AFM 90mm

If you are going for crazy grunt, then the Q45 is the obviously one which will allow the most power BUT it's a bit harder to tune at low air speeds.

I made 250 rwkw with the standard AFM (80mm) but I'm maxxed out.

Make sure to get the Apexi Super Suction kit, as the stock AFM to TUrbo pipe will suck closed at over 1 Bar.

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
