Shonkey dealers/importers listing in the forum

I think alot of people have "heard" about the shonkey dealers etc, but I'm sure a few of us have actually purchased from them or know who they are specifically; how about a list of people/businesses to avoid in each state?

Specially for first time buyers like me who dont know crap:D also a good list of places that arent shonkey, and provide mechanical services and parts SPECIFICALLY for skyline imports would be great.

Since it is potentially libelous to name the bodgy shops, perhaps members could name the shops they are happy with/would recommend.

I bought my car from Powerplay Imports on Victoria Rd at Drumoyne, and have it serviced there - I'm extremely happy with their work and attitude.

having a list of parts and dealers that cater for the sakyline is a great idea though. i coulda used it today but that's another story.

If you wish to post about a shonky experience, I feel you should be able to as long as details are not included or are *******'d out. Obviously then if people wish to know more about the situation or who to stick clear of they could PM or e-mail the person ? Would this be ok ?

Yeh, legal action has been the playa behind many a forums downfall ..... it causes nothing but headaches for the owners, and we don't want that do we
