I just bought an all in one split dump/frontpipe.

The all in one design allows the wastegate pipe to be much longer than the HKS style split dump and separate frontpipe combo.

This is supposed to reduce turbulence therefore improving the flow.

Some say that the all in one bellmouth type can make more power in the top end than either of the split types when running high boost but not everyone agrees with this.

Do a search and make up your own mind.

i was origianally going to go for a split style one... from marky at Exhaust technology (SA)

However he informed me that with the stock O2 sensor, they apparently have 3 prongs or somethin like that, and one of those sensors registers the heat expelled out of the turbo/wastegate.

now if your on full boost for a while (ie long hills thrash) then the air coming out of the wastegate pipe is much hotter than waht the O2 sensor (in the front pipe still) is reading.

Dont know exactly how this effects the computer etc of a stockish car..... but marky informed me to simply go for a bellmouth design.

yer the one in looking at is an all in one screamer and front pipe, so its like a normal front and dump all in one pipe but the seperate wastegate pipe doesnt join back into the exhaust. So what do you guys think ..

Hey im getting a split dump very soon, a stainless steel one that goes from turbo to front pipe.

How is the factory unit restrictive???they look very similar in the pic above apart from the SPLIT design, is it just its flow capabilities of the stock one???

And i assume youll see the same amount of gains from going front/dump combo, or just the dump pipe unit itself with an aftermarket front pipe???

is it a good idea to have the split dump heatwrapped first?and how much wrap will i need?

i was all in on getting one of the batmbl ones but after showing my friends they all say to get the greddy split dump and blitz front pipe because suposedly where the front and dump join has alot of stress and they crack easily there with the 2 in 1 designs,

and its actually happened on my mates s15 he had a 2 in 1 design and it cracked right where the dump and front would usally joing now he has the greddy & blitz combo!

around the same price as batmbls too

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
