I've serached and searched but cant find a whole lot of detail on this subject...

is there a benefit of high mounting vs low mounting?

is it possible to use a low mount manifold and modify it for use with an external gate?

Yes it is possible to use low mount manifold and modify it to fit external gate... you can even modify your existing monifold for an ex gate.

Hi mount manifold would look heaps better and you get to have easy access.. but you will need to make room as the cross over pipe will be on the way,.. and depending what turbo you'll be using,. you might have to move your power steering bottle.

with low mount set up -- again,. depending how big the turbo is .. some might not fit under there being HUGE.. but most does with an adaptor flange... this is the opposite of the hi mount set up.
