I know a guys from Wales who knows some guys from Liverpool who will go around and give him a kiss (if you know what I mean) wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more..

For a small fee they'll break someone legs just so they cant run away when you deliver the papers.

Ok, here is the list so far, keep them coming!!!

Ian -

1) "The guy posting them went home when the commonwealth games finished, and took them with him"

2) "global warming melted the stamps of the envelopes, so they have been returned to the sender, who accidentally put the wrong return address."

3) "an Australian Idol star has stolen them, as they were desperate for more CD's to record demos on"

4) "A miner in Tasmania has them, and he is having trouble getting to a post office"

Ska -

5) A dingo stole them?

19) The CD's were evited from J-Spec, they had to cut the fat, they were the weakest link and the tribe has spoken.

munchdesign -

6) John Howard has ordered a parliamentary enquiry into their disappearance.

Tangles -

7) Envelopes were used as toilet paper in a time of crisis.

8) Cds were used by the kiddie & dog in a frisbee free-for-all game.

GoldZilla -

9) The CDs are now doing triple-duties as either a plate for meals, a mirror for applying make-up/brushing teeth, etc., or as a mirror once again for use to rack-up the current possessor's drug of choice for the day - all depending on the requirements of that particular time of day.

mcnamq -

10) the wrong cd's were mistakenly loaded onto a plane from kuwait and due to the religious holiday over there at the moment there will be a delay on the correct cd's

I noticed this post was dropping down the list a bit, so thought I'd add a few more.

- The CD's have been put into orbit to help reflect the sun (to stop global warming).

- They have been tied to a rope and are behind dragged behind a 'just married' car - a stagea of course..

- The mythbusters have grabbed them to test out what happens when you put CD's into a microwave.

- Top Gear has given them to the Stig.

oh crap i just realised that funky knows where we live so if give him too much crap he might come looking for us. oh actually on second thoughts if hes not organised enough to get some cd'd in the mail then how could he manage to stalk us and murder us in our sleep.

meh if he does come looking for me I hope he brings with him my bloody cd

haha lol thats rounded up my thoughts exactly, sooo true :/

surely he is just stuffin us round now after all this time and not one single reply for over a month or something.

does anyone know him in person or what? i doubt he would attempt to rip people when we all know he works for j spec, but u never know these days, some people just dont have a clue how to treat customers.

i think personally the whole car industry is bloody useless for keeping to schedules. ordered my pfc djetro 3.5 weeks ago and it was meant to be one week max and if i had known it was taken sooo long i woulda bought it off nengun or one of them and saved a couple of hundred bucks. dammit :)

if u modify cars u definately cant be in a rush or on a time limit because it never ever ever works with the businesses supplying the stuff.

/end rant :)

.........I bought my copy for $140, and its not that easy to come by due to some shrewd japanese auctioneers playing bidders off against each other. I'm happy to offer a copy of this to you guys for $20 (postage included to anywhere in Australia). I'll only be selling enough copies to make my costs back, after that you guys are more than welcome to do with them amongst yourselves as you please...........
.........latest list of people I've recieved payment from and date recieved:

14/02/2006 CruiseLiner

14/02/2006 Burns

14/02/2006 muck

13/02/2006 chook

10/02/2006 ALEXCIM

9/02/2006 oxford1327

9/02/2006 munchdesign

9/02/2006 EGA41T

9/02/2006 TERMINAL

8/02/2006 beastien ..........

Plus from more posts down the thread neostagea, GoldZilla and Ian have also paid.

According to my maths, 14 people x $20 = $280

$280 > $140

So, everyone is due a refund of $10 if you are going to stick to your word, plus due a damn CD.

On another note, I cant beleive I paid you in FEBRUARY and its now MAY. You even had the master on the 23rd of Feb as per http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=104317&st=40#

Also, Ive done some diggin.

EDIT by Ska:

POSTING PERSONAL DETAILS IS NOT COOL!

I understand your frustration, but this form of posting will not be accepted.

No point to be rude or anything though, we are just trying to find out whats going on.

Also, we can call J-Spec on 0400 502 250 to ask for Shan/His where abouts

Guys I don't have his personal details but I have posted in the Mods section for anyone pass on a message that you're all waiting for a response ASAP.

In the meantime all I can say is please try and keep it as civil as possible and hopefully you can get some action soon enough.

Vijay

Edited some information out, this is your last chance guys, this will be closed if you continue to make personal attacks. It is clear in the rules that personal attacks are not acceptable.

I can understand your frustration, but flaming anyone will only end with topics being closed and waring points issued, and I dont want to do that, so dont make me.

    • Hi,  Just joined the forum so I could share my "fix" of this problem. Might be of use to someone. Had the same hunting at idle issue on my V36 with VQ35HR engine after swapping the engine because the original one got overheated.  While changing the engine I made the mistake of cleaning the throttle bodies and tried all the tricks i could find to do a throttle relearn with no luck. Gave in and took it to a shop and they couldn't sort it. Then took it to my local Nissan dealership and they couldn't get it to idle properly. They said I'd need to replace the throttle bodies and the ecu probably costing more than the car is worth. So I had the idea of replacing the carbon I cleaned out with a thin layer of super glue and it's back to normal idle now. Bit rough but saved the car from the wreckers 🤣
    • After my last update, I went ahead with cleaning and restoring the entire fuel system. This included removing the tank and cleaning it with the Beyond Balistics solution, power washing it multiple times, drying it thoroughly, rinsing with IPA, drying again with heat gun and compressed air. Also, cleaning out the lines, fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pump with an OEM-style one. During the cleaning process, I replaced several hoses - including the breather hose on the fuel tank, which turned out to be the cause of the earlier fuel leak. This is what the old fuel filter looked like: Fuel tank before cleaning: Dirty Fuel Tank.mp4   Fuel tank after cleaning (some staining remains): Clean Fuel Tank.mp4 Both the OEM 270cc and new DeatschWerks 550cc injectors were cleaned professionally by a shop. Before reassembling everything, I tested the fuel flow by running the pump output into a container at the fuel filter location - flow looked good. I then fitted the new fuel filter and reassembled the rest of the system. Fuel Flow Test.mp4 Test 1 - 550cc injectors Ran the new fuel pump with its supplied diagonal strainer (different from OEM’s flat strainer) and my 550cc injectors using the same resized-injector map I had successfully used before. At first, it idled roughly and stalled when I applied throttle. Checked the spark plugs and found that they were fouled with carbon (likely from the earlier overly rich running when the injectors were clogged). After cleaning the plugs, the car started fine. However, it would only idle for 30–60 seconds before stalling, and while driving it would feel like a “fuel cut” after a few seconds - though it wouldn’t fully stall. Test 2 – Strainer swap Suspecting the diagonal strainer might not be reaching the tank bottom, I swapped it for the original flat strainer and filled the tank with ~45L of fuel. The issue persisted exactly the same. Test 3 – OEM injectors To eliminate tuning variables, I reinstalled the OEM 270cc injectors and reverted to the original map. Cleaned the spark plugs again just in-case. The stalling and “fuel cut” still remained.   At this stage, I suspect an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, caused during the cleaning process. This has led me to look into getting Frenchy’s fuel hanger and replacing the unit entirely. TL;DR: Cleaned and restored the fuel system (tank, lines, rail, pump). Tested 550cc injectors with the same resized-injector map as before, but the car stalls at idle and experiences what feels like “fuel cut” after a few seconds of driving. Swapped back to OEM injectors with original map to rule out tuning, but the issue persists. Now suspecting an intermittent power or connection fault at the fuel pump hanger, possibly cause by the cleaning process.
    • For race cars, this is one part where I find having the roll cage bar having gone through a hole in the floor better than the build it up on a ledge inside... The Merc I help on, the main hoop ends are marked on the car, and the jack is marked... Jack goes under a few inches and lifts one whole side of the car up... Removes that fight for long slim jacks for race car duties!   My biggest issue for the daily drivers I work on, is my jacks don't go high enough. The jacks start out on a few blocks, jack it up, then start a second jack under it on more blocks, and then I can get an axle stand under it. My axle stands are presently in use, and are nearly fully extended. The car is sitting with barely more than a cm of clearance to get the wheel off the studs! Sarah's Kluger is the same, as it has an ungodly amount of droop available in the suspension and a distinct lack of good jacking points!
    • Happy? Yep, my to do list is getting shorter and shorter. Either this light approaching is the end of the tunnel, or I'm about to be hit by a train... Ha ha ha   Also, Duncan isn't that far out of town that you need to make a multi day drive out of it. 😛
