I have a R32 Skyline GTR in Japan, That has had some slight damage, I was going to get it sent to Australia and either Comply it if it is possible,

If it isn't I want to have the RB26DETT and Attesa full gtr running gear, cramed into my 180sx which was lightened in japan by gab.

If it is compliable can someone send me information of who can comply 92 GTR's in QLD.

If it cannot be complied can someone send me someone on the gold coast or brisbane that could fit the engine correctly and include custom mounts, ect.

As I have some good gear to put in this engine, 2.8L stroker Kit, HKS Cams, HKS cam Gears, HKS computer, HKS VPC, EIDS the list goes on.

I can be e-mailed at [email protected]

Regards Mathew.

If it's 1/92 then , no , it's not compliable .

Only way to know is chassis no.

Fitting an RB26 is not particularly difficult but fitting the 4 wd will be the biggest h/ache imaginable ( completely different front end )and will easily exceed the value of both the 180sx and the engine.

Cheers

Ken

Chassis number is BNR32-216156

does anyone have the R32 Manual who could send me some extract's regarding engine mounts and frount and rear drive train so I can do some measuring.

I know it will be a bit of work to fit the 4wd system into a 180sx, It isn't to hard as long as the rear lines up, and the frount just requires custom mounts and good alignment.

It is a bit or work, but my only real options is spend 20k on my ca18det to get 400bhp or get this combo to fit.

I could always prep the R32 for a race care, Does anyone have a smashed up R32 >06/92 Chassis only required, as would rather fix a smashed body in than do a car transplant that way everything will bolt into the other R32.

Regards Mathew.

Too early

Use the R32 GTS type crossmember, fairly simple job after that.

Not a bit , a LOT. New inner fenders , change from strut to upper link , steering geometry issues etc ......

For race use no prob , but Level 3 plus CAMS lic reqd for importation.

Chasing an ^/92 on will be very hard and doing it is slightly dodgy.

:uh-huh:

Oops , that didn't work. The answers are in the quote.

Cheers

( still learning )

About MX5's, the smart money is on the NC, specifically the NC2 if your budget goes that far, and with MX5 pricing that's pretty much where they go. Occasionally you see them pop up with tasteful mods like suspension and such, but the NC2 is the quiet sleeper of the range in terms of overall goodness.
    • The housing it self made minimum differences, while the exhaust manifold made a difference. 6 Boost T3 divided will do fine. ATR43SS3ProR model in T3 .82 rear (TS optional) from March 25th will be more then capable of 450whp with excellent response.
    • The boy crashed his Patrol a while ago, so he is now driving his mum's ASX and she is driving my Honda I initially said he could have the Honda to drive around (he's a good kid currently training at the police academy), but, his mum was quick in saying that he "will" take the ASX and she will take the Honda, he was a bit upset with that, he rates the manual Honda more than the automatic ASX (mums taxi), and I'm getting the feeling she enjoys thrashing the manual Honda around In other news, I'm looking at a MX5 NB series 2 on Saturday  I always loved my NB series 1, but after stripping it down because I'm a idiot it wasn't fun cruising or driving around daily, and Jackie refused to drive it, which was an issue if we went out, because her refusing to drive it meant I lost my designated driver if we went to a party, or dinner, or...... basically anywhere where I could get a glow on Yes yes, I may need a new job if I decide to buy https://www.seek.com.au/apprentice-hairdresser-jobs/in-All-Sydney-NSW Plus giving the Honda to the boy, which is my cunning plan, will give me enough wifey type credits to turn up in another car Meh
    • Yeah I've just been checking it out on GTR registry and its the emerald green pearl (DS0) and only 610 made for S1 RS-Four V (if i'm understanding correctly) so I feel obliged to restore the paint to as close to original as possible!
