Pod Box....Really..WhY?

Sydneykid: when you say Lid, I assume you mean airbox lid?

Is your cold air box one of the UAS ones? or custom made?

So from your tests its really only worth doing a "partition" for the pod and not bothering with a full enclosure?

Is there a great noise difference between the lid being ON and OFF, cause I am hoping to quieten down my pod noise with the box too!!! [dont need cops following me around].

nismoR34, I have only a partiton, and the noise is greatly reduced, only makes noise when you put your foot in, not much at all when just accellerating to keep up with traffic etc. Even when accellerating hard, the noise is nowhere near as load - I can even hear the stock turbo spooling up now (though this may have to do with the heat shielding being removed as well?)

Not too sure about at the front of the car though, as there is a big hole for the CAI
