The mag shop in Osborne Park.

Can anyone tell me if they have closed down?

Been there 3 times now during business hours and they were shut.

Turned up at 4 today and there is a sign to say will be open at 10.30am tomorrow but don't know how long that sign has been there.

have you tried ringing them? they should probably give you a straight answer.

the site also says "We are currently in the process of opening our brand new store in Osbourne Park", perhaps they are only open for a few hours so they can set everything up?

I didn't think they were open on a Saturday; they weren't on the couple of Saturdays that my friend and I went to have a look. This was a few months ago however. I pass them on a regular basis and didn't get the impression that they were closing.

took 3wks to get my wheels, which initially was sposed to only take 4 days. never got any calls to say there was a delay, had to call them EVERY TIME.

got given wrong lock nuts, now i need 4 new studs.

customer service, they have none.....

u get what u pay for i guess, i am very happy with the wheels but thought that dealing with a local company would have been easier than dealing with over east, now i regret it....

Just got my tyres from a bloke called Javed at WestState Autobarn in East Perth, just next door to the Golf box at the East end of the tunnel.

I can't vouch for dealing with him extensively as he just put 2 tyres on some rims for me, but he had a Sh*tload of rims floating around there. Big ones too. Can anyone say 19"x13"?!?

Could be worth a look...

Chris,

Buy direct from japan. I got my works wheels recently through Perfect Run, took about 10 days door to door and saved a heap of cash... The guys there are great, have bought a lot of stuff and never had a problem.

They don't list rims on their website, but tell them what you want and they get it....

Highly recommend them...

Even with customs duty, gst and inspection fees it was still over $600 cheaper than any local shop could supply them for...

cheers

Brett

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
