Heyall,

Looking for dump pipe and front pipe for my 32. Last pieces of my Japanese puzzle! :)

Amounts I'm willing to pay OBVIOUSLY change depending on what people have for sale, but suffice to say, this is a rough guide (prices include delivery to Mildura Vic 3500):

Split Dump: $60 - (Can get new for $100)

Front Pipe: $120 - (Can get new for $200)

Bellmouth Dump and Front in 1: $180 - (Can get new for $260)

Split Dump and Front in 1: $320 - (Can get new for $420)

The above is an indicator of new prices, and the prices I'm roughly looking to pay for used items. Good idea if you're looking to upgrade your parts! :P

I figured I'd leave this open for forum buffs for a while, and if no-one takes me up on the offer, just grab the batmobile split dump and front in one. Just giving y'all an opportunity to get rid of used parts first!

Please PM with offers.

...and for no particular reason, here's two smiley faces dukin' it out, star-wars style!

:)

Thanks,

Adrian.

i got a custom one in melb. split dump/front in mild steel. just need to adapt to your car by exhaust place. I had the whole system custom made, so i'm not sure it will mount to your cat without some changes. anyways. $240

pm me or call 0413 934 330. can send pics, send me an e-mail address. I'm a bit slow with pics though.

i have a home made one that used to be on my car. It has a small crack in the welding, 1cm can hardly see. Its nothing to look at , but i could COD to mildura for say $50? if your keen pm me cos ill probably forget i posted on here, or email [email protected]

UPDATE: Found a bellmouth style dump and front pipe in 1 on justjap.com for $195+ delivery, so I'm probably going to go with that if anyone doesn't have anything better going reasonably cheaper (considering it would be second hand).

Thanks.

Come on guys. I gotta buy one this week, so if you've got one lying

around, or are thinking of upgrading, this is a good time to sell the old

dump and / or front pipe!

Thanks.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
