gday, im lookin at getting one of these soon, i know the '93 came with GTR running gear but was wondering if any earlier ones did or if its only on the '93. cheers

buy this bumper....it is difference to the 60000 nismo 400r bumpers you see everyday

Come on, man! That's the front bar EVERYONE gets for the 33. I liked it the first thousand times I saw it...

Now I think it's the factory front bar for a 33 I've seen it so often.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of a custom front bar to be different to other cars like yours, to stand out?

I recommend the Do-Luck front bar. I've tried to attach a picture of the Do-Luck front bar to this reply.

Another good one is Version Select, a link for pic can be found here:

Or, why not be COMPLETELY different, and get a custom made front bar? Then you are guaranteed no-one has the same one! I can design a few if you want. I'm not sure who does custom front bars in Sydney, but it shouldn't be much more than $400 in any event.

That's my 2c worth anyway.

overly done.......too much neon crap...too much flare on the bumper..........doesn't look tough at all, looks like a 16 year old's car...........no taste........no offense to the owner

lol buy ANY BUMPER as long as it is not 400r

not too bad at all......could do better with a new grill for the series 2 tho

Yeah, I think the 400R and Trust look is WAY overdone in this country!

The front bars I found are at least something different. Personally, if I wanted a front bar, I would design something completely different to everyone else. Be a trend setter, pussy go getter!!! :D

400r front bar is great looking front bar but the problem is everyone has them so i am anger when i see 60000 each day. i prefere stock bumper to 400r because of this reason.

Who cares what anyone else thinks, if you like it, buy it. It's your car.

At the least it will look different to the hundreds of other 33's I see driving around on any given day

my 2c

totally agree with this. its ur car so who gives a stuff what other ppl think of it. im happy with my 32 gtr being stock lookin even thou lotsa ppl tell me i should get bigger front bar rear bar skirts wide body blah blah. i like the original kit.

u like the bar, buy it!

    • You Gregged a whole racetrack!?
    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
