kralster
My computer randomly shuts down for no apparent reason either. It's either motherboard or cpu as i've i've tested everything else. I hate pc's as it means to fix it realistically i need new RAM, motherboard, and cpu, powersuply Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/74/#findComment-3273494 Share on other sites
Pauly33GTS-t
It never usually happens to me but I have noticed that upon new OS install it does it maybe 4-5 times then it becomes completely stable, it must be patches or something that fixes it. I am now running 64bit winxp pro and I must say significantly quiker than vanilla xp pro. kralster
Well i seem to of fixed my wireless woes. I got another wireless adaptor. A linksys one. I now get excellent signal strength and no dropouts what so ever. Also my computer seems to boot in half the time and is more stable. I'm guessing that the netgear wire;ess adaptor just didn't agree with my hardware and/or drivers. Everything was up to date, including firmware on everything. Ohh well all good now. Also fishpaste someone from your work rang me today. Do you guys have any games in stock at all? or is that not really your area?
