Hey joe21m how did you go???

Few things that you should check is all your lines are not leaking (happened to me today). check it at the BMC and anywhere you have removed or loosened.

Also your not using the fluid thats comming out of the nipple are you cause alot of the time thats got plenty of bubbles in it and will cause you to just re air the system. It will look dirty but its really lots of fine bubbles.

Had a stab at doing mine but after the braided line conections leaked Ive given up and hopfully be done tomorrow.

Also have you checked all your connections???? have a look wipe them down and including all the ones one the caliper and anything you have loosened put pressure in the system like pump it 20 times with the engine on then check again. I just had a bith fight with mine with leaking connections due to the braided line having lots of connections at the BMC. But just finished and I was locking up everywhere (couldnt even get it to lock up before). Upgraded the BMC to BM44 (skyline and S14) and also GTR brakes and the thing stops on a dime. Stoked

are you bleeding all 4 brakes?

yes bleeding all 4, the brake pedal went hard when i did 3, then when i bled the last one (front driver side) it went back to what it was before, CRAP!

im taking it to a mechanic tomorrow, hopefully he can find something, if not i'll have to do it bit by bit...

hey cefiro,

can you do me a favour...on your BMC can you check for me, when you screw the lid on, is it tight to screw on or does it go on fairly easy???

i noticed in your other thread your cap is yellow, mine is black? maybe its the wrong cap cause when i screw mine on its really easy to screw on...thinking maybe its not sealing properly hence no pressure in there???

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
