GTRNUR
Hi all, I'll be installing my MSD DIS4 on my 3 coil waste spark ignition system this weekend. At the same time I am intending to run a much colder plug than the BCPR6's that are currently in the engine. For two reasons... 1 is to reduce any possability of the plug causing detonation, and 2 because the CDI ignition system will drive a hot spark into the coldest of plugs just fine. I'm running lamborghini ngk D9EA's in my 7.8:1 cr turbo vw race engine with an MSD system and it runs fine with no plug fowling so I'm expecting to see a simular result with the skyline RB20DET. I am curious to know who out there is running an BCPR8 or BCPR9 plug out there in their RB engine and what boost and ignition system alterations they've done, plus the results or observations if any...? Cheers, Ian Edited March 16, 2006 by GTST4Newbie Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/109836-spark-plugs-revisited-cold-plugs-and-cdi-ignitions/ Share on other sites
