help need to find someone who has contacts with nengun or someone who has an accound with someone who can get me a turbo kit from japan or australia for my rx8, ive been looking at modyourcars website and they have the kit for $7500 recently bumped up from $5900, but nengun has the same kit for 4500 delivered, please if anyone can help be much appreciated, dont feel like handing over 4500 to someone in japan not knowing if i will get my kit.

I've bought plenty of gear from him, and so have people I know. Never been a problem, not even once. However, you might have to pay some customs tax on it when it turns up. But you'll still save heaps.

Why not check out some Ausie kits going around, you might pay a little more, but the quality of the kits are very good and you have the added bonus of local warranty etc.

Example this is taken from Rotor Master (I know its a supercharger, but its still good).

what you looked at was for a supercharger kit, they are known to be expensive.

look at the turbo kit

theres one for $4K suppose to be 260rwhp

that power figure is only on 5.6psi, i spoke to c and v the other day and they gaurentee it will make much better power at 10psi daily driver, over 350, i dont care im gonna risk it, if anything i would be a crayy tyre fryer

i second this guy. perfect run have prices as good if not better then nengun and greenline. there service is better then both, i have dealt with all 3... and the best part of it is..... THEY HAVE A SHOP IN SYDNEY !

so give them a visit and pay in person if you wish :(

i would get one but they dont speak english and the only way to contact them is by email, bit sus to me

    • That's not a transistor --- it's marked ZD1 which makes it a zener diode. As to what the breakdown voltage is, not enough there to divine.
    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
    • The incentives are mostly the same, yes. Ethanol is cheap compared to the cost of doing 98-100 RON with crude oil alone. 87 to 93-94 AKI all with E10. In 2020 Canada mandated E10 as a part of their "renewable fuel standard" and is supposedly going to go to E15 in 2030. In California where there are only 8 refineries with two threatening to shut down next year it's been over 20 years now of E10 and 91 AKI maximum because there's just not enough refinery capacity or crude oil supply relative to the demand for premium unleaded fuel. And CARB's low carbon fuel standard means functionally none of the diesel available at the pump is made from crude oil anymore. It's almost all entirely 20% biodiesel blended with 80% renewable diesel (hydrotreated vegetable oil) now. The number of gasoline vehicles that support E15 or higher ethanol concentrations is surprisingly low, I can't imagine it being wise to play tricks like this without flex fuel sensors in most of the fleet.
