Nope, just grasping to the last thread of reality before plunging in to the deepest pits of needing to buy a house............ <sighs>

Anyway I can barely afford Alex's wing, so it's no good putting me down for one of these babies!!

if Sk doesnt take em, beastian will take em for sure...

but at the way its going now, SK's been DESPERATE for a while :)

I'll take em if SK doesn't want em, but what are the chances of that "NONE" LOL

i may just have to see what i can get the rear bar and skirts for, and throw it into the order with chris's stuff, and see if it would be a reasonable option to keep the front bar somewhere, depending on how much extra it would be, until someone manages to rear-end someone in their stagea...

which will probably be me anyway.

meh. im a definite on a rear bar and skirts. have $$ waiting. If anyone wants a front bar for cheaper than gettin it by itself, let me or chris know and we'll throw it into the mix with my kit. no rush, i couldnt afford to get them painted atm anyway, so it may be a month or two, like i'd said. but if someone is keen for earlier, im on it like white on rice.

Andy

Sell your dayz skirts to sydneykid, he has been wanting a set for ages

you will get more than enough for them to buy new ones

righto, SK has offered me 300 plus the postage of the nismo skirts, so put me down for a set Chris.

...by the way, GREAT idea Darrin :(

I will have a set of DAYZ skirts, yahoooo >_<

When do you reckon Andy will get his skirts?

I don't think he wants to go skirtless :nyaanyaa:

:) Cheers :D

I will have a set of DAYZ skirts, yahoooo

When do you reckon Andy will get his skirts?

I don't think he wants to go skirtless

:D Cheers :D

LOL glad you can finally get your hands on a set - will look real nice in blue, lowered with gtr wheels.

Tangles, you sell me your dayz front bar and you buy the spare nismo

:D bwahahahahha Alex tried that one too!

Come n get it buddy :D LOL no postage cash in hand in person; must be driving stagea

Anyways a Nismo would look better on a manual/powerFC equipped Stagea......... :)

Brendan

this is turning into a game of musical parts...

chris as soon as you can get me a GOOD price on what the skirts and a rear bar is, and then what its would cost for another fornt bar, count me in.

If anyone wants the front bar, you can have it for whatever i pay for it, plus postage. i wont make anything out of it, but it'll be a cheaper way for you to get yourself a tougher front end.

chris post up a list of who is getting what so far, so it can be confrimed either way, with dates as to when the buyer can make the actual purchase, and we'll go from there.

will look nice with an alexcim wing, id say. and SK's suspension. come on tax return...

Made any phone calls lately chris?

Write a quick post if youre in guys, just saying which parts you want so we can get a clear indication of who wants what, as well as when you will be able to get it, so this keeps moving along. Quicker we give chris a clear list, quicker he can start negotiating, and the sooner we'll know prices and such.

by the way these kits look GREAT with clear indicators... lol plug...

Im in for side skirts and rear bar.

If i need to get a full kit to get a cheaper price, whoever buys the front bar gets free clear indicators for it!

come on mate we will have all upgraded to newer cars by the time the price is sorted :D

i want my skirts >_<

Yeah sorry guys... Mike is working on them. Well atleast thats what she said today. Will call him again, and see how things are progressing

me too, when will you have the prices?

...im sure SK is sweating for his DAYZ skirts too.

Yeah Yeah! Coming coming coming.... :D

Sorry for the delays

ok well this thread has been going since march 25th...

im going to give them a call myself tomorrow i think and see what we can do to speed this up cos there is a lot of waiting going on - doesnt take this long to get quoted a price, and yeah we will have upgraded cars by the time we get anywhere.

DO you have their number, chris? or ill just grab it from Don ant DMD Image...

Just trying to speed this up a bit is all.

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
