Bl4cK32. No offence taking mate.

I earn $500 a week so i mean i am worried about the repayments and shizzen like that. But i have really taken neally everything into consideration.

But yes i am considering saving a little bit mre so i dont have to have a massive debt on my shoulders at 18.

I appreciate your words buddy.

I have looked a R33 sedan and im still not to keen on it. But they doo look nice.

I think 10-12k at 18 is actually fairly responsible.

At your age I went out and bought a 3yr old VS 5ltr 5speed Commodore for 24k. :S

12k over 3years is ~190 pf, 4years ~$150.

So bugger all when your living at home and have bugger all expensive.

Yeh thats my plan. Thanks cubes.

LOL except the fact of living at home but oh well. If i get the car i want then who cares. I will be happy for a change.

Oh and Cubes, once i get a car first thing is manual conversion, panda style paint job and rims, then i will go and get it looked at by Boostworx. Unless i get a $17000 loan and just get everything done first up and then get it tuned.

Oh the plans, lol.

** edit ** please do not indescriminantly bag workshops or people. It is not nice, and unless strictly founded and you are willing to post specific reasons for your complaints, keep it to yourself or PMs.

sorry mate probably not going to get the bent fixed now as I had to pay some fines (Im to old for street drift) with the cash I had set aside. I dont really want to sell it for any less than 14k make me a offer I could pull the 2530 off and lower the price hmmmmm

Ive got a guy coming this week so it should go if hes not a tyre kicker

if not.

Im going to start spending money setting up for more track work camber arms, oil cooler etc

Thanks for clearing that up Andrew,

& ryan street drift is such a no no lol.

Yeh me jumping from my shitty old datto to your car was a massive step. I was scared when u took me for a drive.

Once i do get one I will come over to Kansai and show u and see what mods we can do to it.

Good luck with that guy Ryan.

Later,

Brenton

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
