Flashing Check Engine Light.....

hi all,

i got my pfc put in, my car (r33 series 1 GTS-t) is producing 188 rwkw @11.2 psi if i put the boost up to setting 4 (11.2psi) on the odd occasion when under high load i get a flashing check engine light. Does this mean that is is pinging or somthing. should i get it checked?

Whats your knock level on your hand controller? but yes its probably pinging, so go get it tuned.

Turn off all the warnings except knock. Then you'll know that's what the yellow light is.

Download the hand commander manual and have a good read. It's all in there.

Basically, if it's a fast flash then it is reading a detonation level over 60. If this is the case then take it back to the tuner ASAP. If it's a slow flash then it is either the AFM voltage maxxing out or the injectors maxxing out.
