Cool I'll b there.. for my 1st SAUWA Cruise...

Speaking of Idiot Drivers.. a WRX tried to drag me last nite... n i just let him go n watch him take off @ the lights.., funny that... on the opposite side of the road ahead of us was a Cop Car parked, we didn't see it cuz it was dark.. but as soon he went pass the copz.. it did a 3 point turn in front of me while i was cruising along. n chased after it with it's emergency light on..

Wonder if he caught him.... hehehe.. I was So Lucky (Was Gonna give him a Run but had an Extra Person in the Car):D

When I said 'interesting' it was because I often wonder what 'real skyline' drivers think of R31s and R31 drivers, and I got the feeling she might've said that because I'm bringing an R31. No implications meant though, I meant only what I said =)

its a skyline its got stove top tail lights its more than welcome (says this as imlooking at picking up a bunkyr31 for kids to learn in lol)

I'm guessing you're Jeff and Bayley's dad :(, unless there is another Passage/GTS-R brother and sister in WA =P

I know Bay v. well as I'm very active in the R31 club, only met Jeff a few times including tonight at the nav run, I wish he'd bring his GTS-R on a cruise some time, I'd love to see it.

Jeff wraps his GTSr up in cotton wool so you wont see it on many cruz's but i think its coming to this cruz.

It wasnt in reference to the type of car you have. We just dont want stupid drivers in general. Regardless of what car you drive :)

Speaking of which, haha... You should have seen this P plater that is driving a blue rx-7 (only JUST bought from Auto Wholesale). Came on a cruise last night, well to the initial meetpoint.. trying to talk himself up a bit an the car. LOL Yeah the car was nice... but he was saying he was a really good driver or it would be have been wrecked by now, to which i replied with... You only just picked that up ...didn't you?

which he said "Yeah on tuesday actually" LOL

was quite the funnies. Im not saying he WAS a bad driver, but he was acting like he was all that and that he was skilled etc cus he hadn't crashed the car, yet he only had it a few days, not even long enough to stick it into something LOL.

It is a manditory occurance for all P platers to crash at least twice :).

They (P platers) don't know it but its not what you do in the car that makes you a good driver, its knowing what everyone else around is doing or premeditating the actions of everyday driving around you. Curtious and unhesitant is good driving, not doing a burnout and JUST missing that pole because I knew what I was doing :D

sorry, I have to rant sometimes and i get carried away.

See y'all tomorrow, yeehar!

ease up on the P platers yoll, they arent all bad drivers. I for one have owned modified turbo imports since I got my license and are now on my 5th import turbo at 22 and have never had an accident or lost my license.

Might try make it to this cruise.

Called in sick *coughs* at about 8am with a grey sky & looking crap, but now there is some blue & the sun is out, game on see ya's in a couple of hours. :D

God damn, I was on my way up there and my car started overheating after I changed the coolant yesterday. Waited a while, added water and purged air from the top, thought it was good, then about 20mins down the road, same problem. Nursed it home, but not happy :D

Thanks everyone

I didn't go on the cruise as I was out running in my new bike.

Stopped at the Mundaring Weir lookout and was treated to a driveby from some of the nicest Skylines in Perth. :)

Some of those GTR's are just beautiful.

Was a bit worried to see an ambulance with it's lights on leading the cruise though.

And I know who took that curve a bit quick too :whistling:

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
