Rb25det Into A 260z

I am fitting a RB25DET into my zed.

Chasing a sump with the bulge at the back. Found in a 200zr, an early 300zx with the RB20DET--Z31.

Also found in GQ Patrol, Ford Maverick with the RB30E engine.

RB25DET inlet manifold. My water spout is rusted. Can it be fixed??

The yoke for the RB25DET manual gear box. Only need the front half of prop shaft. Doesn't need to be complete.

External fuel pump and surge tank.

I have a complete manifold in good nick. The spout is not available seperately, but a machine shop might be able to make a suitable replacement.

In terms of the sump, etc, if it helps these are the PN's for the 200ZR rear bowl RB20DET sump and pick up:

11110-20P00 RB20DET Oil Pan (Rear Sump)

15050-20P03 RB20DET Oil Pickup

15059-V5001 RB20DET Oil Pickup O-Ring

I'm told the sump is about $300 from Nissan.

Z32 yoke is the same as RB25, so try a few Z wreckers.

External fuel pump - probably best to get something new with decent capacity depending on your power aims.

Surge tank - difficult thing is where to put it, most off-the-shelf tanks are too bulky for the limited space in a Z. Mine is custom made and mounted behind the RHR quarter panel trim.

with the sump you should be able to cut to turn it around and reweld it to place the bulge where you want if you know what i mean?ive seen it done and its not dodgy as my explanation may make it sound:)
