silva33
Moring all, I am about to buy a GTR but just wanted to know how to check if the compliance is legit, the car has been in Australia for 5+ years.. When i had my mechanic check the car he raised the question that it still had the original seat belts and no dimmer switch for the cluster.. Also the Vin number seems not to be straight on the top panel of the firewall... Any help is appreciated Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/115793-gtr-compliance-check/ Share on other sites

Sevs requires seatbelts to be changed on vehicles which are pre 1997/1998 from what i can remember. Dimmer switch should have also been done. New RAWS scheme does not require any seatbelts to be changed or dimmer switches to be added. SEVS/RAWS is the system we have now. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/115793-gtr-compliance-check/#findComment-2132017 Share on other sites
