I looked into it and it was VERY VERY expensive to convert it to a 6 speed. It was actually cheaper to go to a 6 speed toyota box then to go with a nissan one. I wanted to upgrade from the Auto too but I went for a ride in an R33 with a "tricked up" auto box with a manual valve body and it launched harder then most of the manual ones I have been in (keeps boost through gear changes). It would be cheaper to rebuild the auto and then to convert it to a manual.

But if you really want to convert it then you will need lots of new items. Make a list first of all the new parts needed to convert it over.

Here are a few things you will need;

Gearbox

Gearbox crossmember

Tailshaft

pedal assembley

clutch master cylinder

clutch slave cylinder

clutch

flywheel

bell housing

center console

dash cluster

computer

some fluid lines

manual spigot bush

I dont think that this is all but the majority of the parts needed, best of getting a manual box that you know is good, maybe a recent rebuilt one or a new recond one.

hope that helps
