What if its say, an Accord Euro?

The question lingers there, should they be run off the road regardless, or do they get away with euro plates.

(even tho I think the euro ones look less euro than the non euro)

Nup, even that's not acceptable...I've seen 03URO..that's OK. But a dedicated Euro plate with a wanky crest c'mon...no dice!

I've seen eleventybillion bloody Libertys getting around with them *sigh*

i saw a Honda integra type r with euro plates....>

but i suppose if the person driving it is from europe, then the plates might be so they dont get home sick?

but yeah, run them off the road

yeah they should provide japanese style number plate..it'll be cool~~...maybe write 'Japan', instead of the prefectures name

Because then we would have HSVs FPTs AMGs and Ms all firing at us...

QLD plates are the way to go, hell we do live here.

We should get together and create a SAU number plate, I know that the Chrysler owners club got some made through the DOT. Dunno how much, but it would be cool to have them.

They cost a lot, we looked at doing this when I was a part of the SAU Qld club, Erin did a lot of research and it was gonna cost a fortune!

I will look into this, but from what I can see

$300 setup/artwork fee (we could hold a fundraiser)

$425 per set (max, less for volume orders) (fund raiser could also help to subsidise the price)

Regular personalised plates are $395 anyway!!!

http://www.ppq.com.au/frameset.asp

Standard 372mm x 134mm;

Slimline 372mm x 100mm (available for the front and/or rear of vehicle)

US Size 300mm x 150mm (no logo). sorta jap size?

when are they gonna bring out jap style plates?

I sent in a suggestion about that to PPQ last year but I guess they weren't interested as they never even replyed to my email.

I even asked to reserve [87-28] as it was the Galant's rego in Japan.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
