with what other mods?

i'm just gettin over the 200kw mark now and on 18psi

yet got a highflow myself.

nothing really - exhaust, pod, FMIC, clutch and fuel pump. (plus highflow and powerfc)

depends on what sort of highflow you got.. doubt it will be the same spec as a slide one

exhaust and all that stuff, basically the same as you, but a better turbo

How much power should his biggest one make Andy?

I have no idea, I am guessing a bit over 250rwkw

yeah i got the max size highflow (without going to a vg30 as he couldn't get one)..

i hope its not a lagmaster tho, i was after a nice punch but still retain drivablity.

Ahhh I see! The one I am talking about has the VG30 rear, It wont be laggy and the midrange is sweet

well allstar only has 2wd and i was in 4wd at salon

but i read 233KW at allstar in rwd and 208KW at salon in awd

That seems about right...That is very interesting, apparently the dyno I was on in Sydney reads the same as the Autosalon ones

that power output would be right though, wouldnt it?

with the engine being able to put out more power with rear-wheel cause the all wheel drive system isnt suckin up any power?

Cool,

So the VG30 is bigger or smaller rear?

was funny coz a mate of mine got 270awkw with stock turbo's and a 5" straight through exhaust.. oh and 19psi on stock turbs

i'm only running 12.6psi wish i could run mine on 19

YOu could......for a few weeks

Get Slide to hi flow them with steel wheels

boost controller is your friend

Shafts with out turbine wheels arent but

yeah i think its about right ya lose a little through 4wd... i'm happy either way, i drive my GTR everyday i dont need to tune it to max and max out a dyno just to see a high figure.. reliability is all i want and i've owned the car for over a year now and the only thig i've fixed is a new cv drivers side and the top tank in the radiator went a few weeks back.. other than that its been sweet..

sounds like we got us better rides then expected.

cept, i maxed out the injectors before puttin the nismo 555cc ones in which now run at 75%

which i wonder if puttin the injectors down to 70% would do any harm ?

actually, only problem i ever had with this liner is the turbo.

the inpropella/inperpella (spelling) fan was rubbing up against the housing when hittin full boost (back in those days, stock 7psi) lol

which then i was forced into actually gettin the turbo rebuilt and while i was at it, i had it high flowed.

its still going good today though!

Yes because you would have 5% less fuel when you needed it

or i could just buy bigger turbo's

looking into it after chrissy so many choices.. hks gtrs's look good

Hell yeah they are awesome (I am looking at getting one for my car) they are damn expensive but!

so wat if i up it to 80% then?

would i end up drowning the injectors in fuel?

Probably not, but you would be wasting 5% more fuel that you had to

Much difference in spool up time?

not really noticeable

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
    • Bloody apprentices! 🙄
    • Not sure yet.  Was considering speedtek because it was rated to 800hp, but when I did some research about him I don't think I will go for that🤣 So maybe giken gear set, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough🙄
