I reckon we need to have an SAU night at a local RSL...

Get a roast at 1970 prices... Where beer is cold and less than $2 a pot...

Where the pokies are louder than the conversation and where the oldies say "Back in my day" while you walk in the other direction...

I vote a tuesday night dinner at Kedron Wavell RSL or Greenbank RSL...

IN IN IN!!!

yes... we have contact..

happy birthday for the other day buddy.. what u get..? new turbo?

thanks... nah i got a few gifts from teh missus, a card from my folks (as they're too stodgy to post my presents they'll drop them off when i next see them), and the boss gave me half the day off work.... i'm trying to save some cash at the moment so limiting the spending on the car as over the last few months i've already done a highflow, power fc, FMIC etc.. so yeah :ninja:

i might be moving up to work in buderim in the next few weeks, looking for a nice-ish 2bdr flat/townhouse doesn't have to be near water/or have a view, just wondering if you can offer any advice?

ie: areas to stay away from, wheres a good suburb to look? i was thinking somewhere like mountain creek?

Buderim is nice, but old. Think Kedron/Asply but brick, not so much the Queenslanders. Have been lots of reno’s going on, and big property brings big money - But at the end of the day lots of old people. This can be good and bad I guess. I can only suggest taking a drive and just having an explore, I wouldn’t live there as it’s too hilly my car has a hard enough time on flat roads in town.

Mountain Creek is a nice area, but it also has a high % of rental’s in the “newer” etstateish parts. Close to everything, and what not - But when you put too many renter’s together you get problems. Again take a drive, and have a look around, some parts are much like Bridgman Downs with big estate homes ect.

Are you looking to buy or rent?

rent, but as i'll be looking at around 220-240p/w if i can find something good to buy i'd be keen (that much money should at least be going towards a home rather than someone elses pockets)

i've spent a bit of time up there before but never really drove around and explored the area...hmm lots of renters? think i'll go live with the oldies lol

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
