KK,

So that makes it 10 again...

This is kind of a shit turnout especially when 2 clubs are going.

Any idea's for the next meet/event?

Another dyno day would be good, that way I can see how much power i'm really makin'

Lol, i guess we shoulda given more notice. Also, i think if the event is organised coinsiding with some known day would give a better response. Better luck next time, how about a skid pan day?

Anyways, time for sleep see ya's in a few hours.

Have fun on the cruise, gang! Remember,it's not the size of the group,it's the fun to be had that makes it worthwhile! Just ask the two other ACT'ers that drove up with me to the Central Coast Show'n'Shine last year:one of the best road trips I've had!

Anyway,I can't make it for three reasons:

1. I'm sick as a dog,

2. I've gotta work today anyway,sick or not,and

3. My car is far from being back on the road!

So,enjoy it,you lucky lot!

sorry for not showing up guys. saturday morning i came down with a wicked fever. now my face is twice the size it should be and pain killers are my new best friend. i ended up going to hospital last night at about 5am after throwing up all morning. seriously, i look like a gorrilla! this means that no wakefield tomorrow either. im so sh1tty about that....

Great to see the cars that went out, sorry bout the early bail, would have liked to stay and have a closer look at the beasts. Oh well next time...

And sorry bout the exit I had a spider in the cabin with me.....its alright though I got him, he was under my right pedal :

Bring on the next club outing!

Was a good day overall, i had a nice afternoon. The drive home was pretty nuts, first time ive really taken mine out in the windey roads but it was awesome fun!

Hopefully we have a better turn out for the next event. Join or Ban :) That'll get the slackers into gear :)

    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
    • This thread keps giving with the OMG!
    • A quick google, and some E39 users have found pulling my sensor out/apart and cleaning it alleviates their issue. Then get the oil warning to go off, and once it is off (from the sensor saying it was unhappy) some find they can just unplug it and it is happy to just keep going now. Maybe give it a crack? If you can actually pull the sensor apart, hit it with some electrical contact cleaner.
    • Yep. In the E39 it's slightly different than the others. Honestly I'd just leave it but every time I drive the car it tells me oil is low and that just makes me check the dipstick. It is a BMW Afterall and it tries to expel it's own oil regularly.  Thankfully it's not like my E90 that has no dipstick at all so you just gotta trust it.
