Hi i want to remove the timing belt cover on my rb25 to check the conditionn of the timing belt my self. if i remove the cam sensor thing on the front of the cover will this bugger up the engines settings. I would mark the position it was in before taking it off. Hass anyone done this before. Any info would be great.

Hey that not a bad idea. I was also thinking of just leaving it off like you see on show car etc where they have those adjustable cam pulleys. Might have prob though with shit having the chance to get into the belt and wearing it out faster.
