Some already know, and for those that don't,my R32 GT-R is undergoing a restoration of sorts. More a serious upgrade,I s'pose. As such, the little beastie wont be turning a wheel in anger for a while yet,so I thought I'd off my trackday rims and tyres in the interim. They're Sparco Pythons, purchased from one of our good Canberra members who'll no doubt have all the spec's if I ask(as I've clean forgotten yesterday, let alone specifications like offset...). What I do know is:17" x 9",with the offset to fit the BNR32 with no clearance issues(my car is lower than standard, but sits just above legal road height...). Tyres are Falken RX-04V II's in 245/45/ZR17,which are a sticky trackday compatable rubber;not DOT approved,so you'd run the risk(and the wear issues)if you used them on public roads, especially if it rains! However, once heated up on the track,I dropped over 2 seconds off my Wakefield lap times, and there'd be more if I didn't drive like a nancy boy...So;cheap trackday rims that are a bit scratched and biffed up-nothing that appears structural,or I wouldn't have used them-no centre caps, with tread at 90%,including wheel nuts, for $1000 firm. Buyer organises pickup/transport/freight;PayPal,direct deposit or the traditional folding stuff only. PM me if needs be,and we'll go from there! Jayce.

Are these rims 4/5x114.3? or 5x100/5x114.3?

Cheers Phillb

Ermmm...whatever the standard R32 GT-R takes? I actually have zero idea what measurement you're refering to:what do I need to measure to answer you properly?

looks like they are multi-fit rims

so they have both 114.3 x 5 stud pattern

and 114.3 x 4 stud pattern

so will fit 5 stud jap cars (except subarus) and fords

and 4 stud jap cars (most RWD's)

cheers

Ah,right! I know now what phillb was refering to. True, they are multifit's:nobody has redrilled 'em:they came that way from the factory!

they are multifit, i used to have a set and still have the centrecaps

jase id b interested in them for sure without the tyres if ur willing to seperate

Sorry mate;I paid more for just the rims,so the price is intended to give me more room in the shed when the buyer takes everything! I don't need the tyres sitting around,as they too wont get used for many a month otherwise! Plus,I'd have to drop more dollars off for "just the rims",taking into account your long haul from the Riverina(see? I'm always thinkin' of you! LOL!)...So,sorry;they're a "job lot"!

I would like to look at them and take them off your hands today if you are around. I have PM'd you with my number, give me a call.

Cheers

And they soooo nearly fitted the GTS-T 4 door...but not quite. Still on the market, despite a v. nice SAU'er that had a look and trial fit this afternoon!

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
