Hi Guys, I was wondering what is the time given for a person to fix a car after an accident?

I am asking as I got into an accident in October last year. The collison involved two other cars, I paid for the damages for one of the car and kept in contact with the owner of the other car, however no word from the insurance company..for months till this morning, trying to get some sleep from watching early morning soccer, I was woken by a call for the insurance company.

He told me the owners had 7 years to fix the car, is that true? Seems like a long time to me and I have sort of forgotten the accident already. At the time of accident I had no insurance.

Thanks :D

That sounds about right. I think its going to vary depending on insurer.

So they are giving you the bill now? thought you got forgotten eh? just bad luck i guess.

I thought the 2nd car owner might not have bothered to fix it, seeing that it was quite minor

That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
