Awesome work by the twinky mitsu!

What I want to know is how it is driven to and from the track without a radiator :D

i havent looked at the link yet, but it would be john shepards super quick mitsu talon.

it used to run in NHRA sport compact class PRO STREET against the titan supra. but he decided to take it up a notch and is running slicks now and a bit of weight reduction. its still a manual box and he uses the clutch to change gears unlike some people here in australia

oh forgot to add, he seems to now run only in puerto rico, they mainly just match race.

if your into drag racing check out agracingphoto website, or the hardcore pr site, theres heaps of awesome stuff on there.

It reads like a Spanish -> English translation but:

" The man behind all that is John Shepherd the same that years ago intimidate the Street tire class some years ago, but like always every true racer have the same trouble in satisfying themselves and John have that problem too. Because of that he are in continues changes looking to beat himself every single time gets on the track. Other good things in this project are the determination and perseverance that have John with the same car and how he always fined new things to get the car faster and stronger especially in the drive train the weak link in every AWD except this one. Shepherd make himself the best technician Mitsubishi Trans. in US maybe World Wide and the 7.97 @ 179 speak for him. "

Touchy, touchy! OK, I get it now. A race car ran a high 7, cool.

No, a 2500lb, street driven 4 cylinder car ran a high 7.

FFS, it has a manually shifted box - I thought you would've pulled the end off one by now, Kenny?

:D

    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.

    • Yep, cheapest options, neglected and abused. The fastest way to dislike a car is to get assigned that model by a budget rental company
    • The noise complaint could be from absolutely anywhere, and anyone. Get it actually noise level tested to find out if you're actually over, or if you're fine. If you're over, quieten it down. If you're under, carry the test results in the car with you.
