Got an email through at work saying Ultimate WILL be pumping on the 21st of July. From memory i think it said they should have it at all 18sites within the 24 hours????

Well thats good news. I was considering the worth of United Petroleum's 98 RON product but that has a 10% ethanol base so Im told. Ultimate 98 will be very welcome. Then I can get my Apexi tuned how it should be.

In NSW, ultimate is generally 10c dearer than regular.

It's worth it IMO though! I can definitely feel the difference in power, and knock is much lower too - Lower than the 7-8% octane increase usually! more like 20-25% less knock compared to 91 ron!

no i meant ill believe 98ron in tassie bowsers when i see it, i run a mixture of 102 with 91 (specialised mix) if im going to rev my car above 4k

my bad , i couldhave made my post a lil clearer lol , yeah, theyre just like any large corparation, e.g banks etc, its all about the $$$$ fark the consumer.
