R32 - Hump In Passenger Side Floor?

So i was going to buy a set of floor mats for my R32GTSt but wanted to check something..

On my passenger side floor next to the gearbox there is a hump, like the RHS of the passenger foot area

This is normal, right? so if i buy floor mats it will accommodate this?

Or is this abnormal?

I've always (for over 3 years) just assumed its normal...

Yep - totally normal, my old R32 had it and so did my friends...Passengers have actually complained about it on occasion, I took no notice because I never had to sit in that seat!!

...I had some kind of generic floor mats with 'twist lock' plastic clips and they fit really well.
