Well, unless you have got your payment in the Group Buy is now closed. Thanks to everyone who has paid there full payment on time, 25 of us! Thats a solid effort. Orders have been sent to the company.

We now play the waiting game for 4-6 weeks until they arrive.

I can't wait! :P

I think we all hate playing the waiting game, but not much we can do about it. They have 25 custom interior designs to make and then ship off - hopefully its only 4 weeks but if its longer then so be it.

I would love mine tomorrow or even right now but meh have to wait hey?

Big thanks must go out to JetDat as well, and thanks to everyone who has paid on time.

If you have missed out, sorry there is not much we can do about it now since orders for this group buy have been sent off. We gave as much time as we could to everyone we expected around 20 people to pay on time, but 25 is deadset awesome!

Hi,

I have made payment into the nominated bank account on the Thursday the 20th July and emailed jetdat with my address details at the same time and I am still on the not paid list.

Can you please confirm if there has been a problem with my payment/order.

Phillip

Now that we have the orders on the way, what about group installations or something? I sure as hell ain't doin my own!!

PS.

Can't wait!!! :P

C'mon dude, you will be all right, just do what im going to do and wing it and hope for the best,

Instalation would be hard to organise with people in different states, but if someone in adelaide wants to help me im open for offers:D

Sorry Phillip, all fixed up and updated.

Hi R33MidnightRacer,

Thanks for the prompt reply!!

I was worried for a moment I might have been forgotten and might missed out on the seat covers!!

Like everyone else I'm definatly looking forward to getting the covers.

Phil

try playing it without a passenger seat or a back seat!!! :(

Weight Reduction :)

Better be a quick 4-6 weeks, i cant wait for the classy leather.... :P

Alot of people have been asking how are we going to actually put these into our cars once we get them?

Well.. The front and back seats shouldn't be too hard to do, they're just like seat covers I belive but take your time in doing them.

The main reason I am writing this reply is because the last thing I want is people saying there interior is starting to look crappy..

You can do the doors etc yourself, but my advice is pay a professional to do it, reason for this being I think it needs to be heated on and then glued and staple gunned from the back so in 6-8mts time your door trims don't get wrinkles in it.

Maybe the best thing is, all of us go out and get some quotes over the next couple of weekends, and see what sort of prices you can get so we can all get an idea of what this may cost to get professionally put into the car.

Hey guys,

Can someone please explain to me how they do the door trims for the 32?? Because its just like a bit of carpet glue' d in to the door.

I don't know if this is the same for the 33, but how do we replace that, and fit the new one??

I've purchased a gear boot cover before, but it was round and elastic at the bottom and wouldn't fit the plastic skyline moulding that it clips to, then clips in to the center console,

will this be the same? or will it be made exactly the same as my standard gear boot??

I'm just worried that things are going to be hard to fit or not fit right.

How does one replace the hand brake boot??

Sorry if there all stupid questions, but I'm a stupid person :)

Magik32

for the doors u get extra material and will need to glue or staple them on over the originals...

as for the gear boot and hand brake, i doubt that it would be that hard...

drop wazr32gtst a pm, he has done the installation himself..

i have put your order thru, the only thing is if your GTR replicas arent exactly as GTR seats the covers may not fit properly..thats the risk u will be taking..

best thing would be for you to go to the factory and let them see your seats...

    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
