2.5 models will be able to be landed for the same price as v35 sedans low 20's it will be more expensive for the 3.5 6 speed manuals as alex says probably between 30 to 40k

it would make a great family cruiser me thinks my grandparents are looking at one

have a go at the camber on those rear wheels... drift camber. a 5k launch would leave to blck mark for 30m - but each one would be about 2 inches wide... and youd be seein more canvas than a circus tent.

I am looking at M35's now but the manual ones will end up costing more around the 40-50 mark compared to a 260rs being 30-40 (on road for both)

M35 is definatly hotter and id get free compliance here in Melbourne, but still...

My mate might bring in a Legnum and cop free compliance too from a workshop ive spoken to.

i seond cruiseliner to go for a 260rs anyday over the m35. You have to remember M35 is a NA engine same engine that the Z uses. 3.5ltr drinks a bit as well. And theres not much mod you can do to a M35 other than the nismo tunes one. Apprently theres M35 in Oz already in carsales or carpoint. I saw it when i was searching for a 260rs. From memory its a gold color one selling at 50k.

Yes it does come out in a single turbo VQ25DET with a 6sp manual trans, mmMMmmMMmmMMmmm not bad!

I wonder if AUTech are going to make a 260/M35 version....? With all the bits bolting on to the M35 that bolt onto a 300ZX I doubt it would be hard to whack another turbo on and put a tough drivetrain in.....

huhuhuhu!!!!!! I can feel 360Rs in the air!!!

:)

So the only way to get one of these into the country at the moment is through a private import right?

Or has someone got a low volume licence for them?

Considering that one in NZ is only about $13000 AUD you must be able to get a manual 2.5T for under 20K So landed that would be about $25K right???

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
