Hey Guys!

I'm selling these 17" rims that came with my car. They're Jim Head Racing rims, really light weight japanese rims. They have brand new tread (i mean brand new, have been on there for only a few months).

Tread is 90%+ as shown in the picture.

post-23179-1152431201.jpg

Fronts = 17x9x45

Offset of +30

Rubber width 235

Rears = 17x10x40

Offset of +35

Rubber width 255

Stud pattern = 5x114.3 so suitable for the usual R32/33/34/S14/S15/Z32 etc etc

Tires on the wheels are brand new Nangkang Ultra Sport NS-II. Paid around $800 for the rubber so this is a bargain price for these wheels.

They're in pretty good condition, one wheel has a few scratches as shown in the pictures. Nothing major really.

I've only ever seen 1 other skyline with these wheels, so you can be sure you'll have original rims that are pretty rare.

Price: $850 negotiable.

Location: Canberra, ACT. Will post, buyer pays shipping.

Got the new wheels for an awesome price off a mate of mine, so i want to get rid of these babies. I shouldnt have put the rubber on them had i known i would be selling them a few months later.... but shit happens i guess.

I cant believe no-one has taken me up on this awesome offer yet :)

9" on the front, 10" on the rear... you know you want them :woot:

Awww come on, theres gotta be atleast one of you guys that wants these wheels - i'm selling the wheels cheaper then what i paid for the rubber that's on them...

I'm commiting highway robbery.... on myself though. ;)

don't be disheartened.. somebody will want them :) .. I'm super keen but I just don't have the money right now so I haven't replied :P

if you still have them in a few weeks I'll definately make you an offer!

Sounds good Shell!

I've got some fellow coming to check them out from Sydney this weekend, he sounds pretty keen.. but if they dont go this weekend they're still gonna be sitting around, waiting for you :D

haha it's all or nothing when selling.. I had just been offered a loan of some $$ to buy them, and Richard was obviously interested... you would have sold them this weekend no matter what :cheers:

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
