Hey everyone.

I think its time i sell my system as i hardly use it anymore due to uni and i wouldnt mind some cash and save it for my europe trip next year sometime.

I love this system and if i dont sell it, then i wont regret it either. It seriously is quailty sound with deep low frequency bass :D (my fridge door downstairs can vibrate)

So it consists of the following:

Amp: Denon 7.1 channel 2105 (won many hi-fi awards in 05) in silver

Speakers: Klipsch RB25 Reference bookshelfs (reference model-top of range) in black

Sub-- Boston Comp sub in custom made box with jaycar module amp running 350 rms.

DVD Player: LG looks cool.. $80

Price:

Amp- $800 FIRM..

Condition: IN excellent condition- as new, no scratches etc etc..

Speakers- $650 Firm with stands which cost me like 150. RRP for speakers is 900

Condition: IN excellent conidition- never been treated harshly at all!!

Sub: Well i think i might keep the sub and use it in the car. But anyways $800 FIRM

Condition: Custom made project tuned correctly.. Excellent condition once again.

Do note this is quailty stuff.. The speakers are very musical and sounds awesome!! I have heard B&W speakers 05 model who won some award and it sounded so dull!! ASk Mr_G on these forums as he came out with me when i bought all my stuff.

sorry champ, thats 700 bucks too less!!

If you are serious then please do pm me to discuss further.

I will let it go for 2k at lowest.

That includes dvd player plus stands plus all wirings.

hahah well its an old pic of my room. Many changes have been made since that pic was taken..

But yes all the gear is hooked up to my pc.. So i can listen and watch and hear it all thru my setup.

So basically the denon amp controls everything.. (7.1 channel amp after all) Its got radio also with RDS feature. So basically it displays the name of the song that radio station is playing at the time..

It truely is a great package!!

My sayin is " Spend a bit extra and get quailty at first, and not second"

can seriously vouch for the Denon 2105....its my amp of choice...have teamed it with the Richter PM501 loudspeakers and the PM SW121 subbwoofer for true sound when needed and the best clubsound on Fri Sat nights...good luck with the sale mate.

WOW you got some richter speakers.. They are worth heaps!!!

Have not heard them personally but have read a review on the 401 series..

Ahh yup this denon amp truely is amazing.

you sure you dont want another set?? hhahha

Need it sold this month please!!

Extra info: The remote glows in the dark.. Makes life easier at night when in bed!!!

Will sell without sub if needed..

  • 3 months later...

im not that that desperate to sell it for 1.5k.. but yea will look into it more next year..

but 1.5k is way to cheap..

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
