Lumpy Idle With 740cc Injectors

Hi,

Im running nismo 740cc injectors in my rb25, and i get lumpy idle...

its not like the rev are jumping up and down but the car sounds like its doing that?

will adding a fpr and upping the base pressure solve this problem? (also will i need a retune if this is done)

try using IGN/INJ correction under SETTING

increase the Kij value, see if it goes away slowly

if it does, try decrease it a few notches (not lots cos youll lean it out)

You dont need a fuel reg, and it wont fix the problem.

I ran Nismo 740's in mine. Idle was as smooth as then the stock injectors were fitted.

Take it back to your tuner and tell em to fix it if you arent confident to do it yourself.

Also doesnt hurt do have them do a quick power run to make sure the AFR's and what not still look good after a small fiddle....

And it should all be done for free IMO.

Sounds like it's running rich at idle. Mine did it when i added gtr injectors and had the base map on the pfc.

Im running 440cc GTR injectors in my RB20 and even that has a slight lump/bubble in the idle.
