Were you talking to me? Im not sure what you're talking about if you were? :D

Well that didnt take long :)

Link is here to the details, post up interest

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2440585

Also i copied the thread to the supra forums and ill watch both threads and update the lists

hahahah lol reminds me of a supra cruise a few whores and i attended up the northern beaches. they were all racing and doing flybys.

it was funny the aparent "leader" tryd to have a run with me. pitty he got hossed and all his mates. so it was a gtr embaresing a whole heap of supras. on a supra cruise. it was very funny.

I think its very much a case of one bad egg ruining it for the rest of them.

I'm a member of the vic supra club, and would personally be happy to have skylines on our cruises (heck one of my clossest friends owns a GTR) but i also do understand that sometimes you do want only a specific make of cars present ( ie we recently had a supras only dyno day).

Any cruise i organise - the more the merrier :( and its always open to anyone.

I look forward to a joint cruise in vic :) with responsible drivers thankx.

Whoa..hostility...Guys, I'm the NSW SUPRA club president, and as mentioned above, the only reason why we wouldn't allow any other car (not just skylines) to an official NSW SUPRA Club cruise is because its a NSW Supra Club cruise.

We don't just not allow skylines, we just don't let any other car cruise with us when its an 'official' club cruise.

There is a difference between Supraforms.com.au and the NSW SUPRA Club, we are not operated by Supraforums, just so that is clear.

Anyway, I personaly apologise if any SAU members were offended, but like I said, it was a club cruise.

I am down for the Supra Club & SAU cruise though. Sounds like a good idea to meet up and cruise.

Too many tossers getting around in N/A Supras thinking theyre hot stuff these days

Not as many ass GTST skylines

I had some idiot in a r32 try to race me the other night, he ended up sideways at the top of first, lucky it kicked out the other way to where my car was, i was side by side and wasnt even racing him. Good way to get your head smacked in.

Aj.

Sure DAVE!!!! You're always starting fights.

I know I'm in the wrong thread here but I'll probably go to the joint cruise.

hahah *looks over shoulder* sif i start fights :) lol. im a model citizen. .

oh adam did you manage to get a driver to the hills?

....

oh deer. nothing like some rivalry.

oxi pe hmm it must of been the other forrum you were talking about. of well. you get that on the big jobs.

weve got james our resident spy anyway :)

but.. it should be a cool cruise. with perhaps some "spirited driving" lol.

ps. whats up with the bloody semi climat control on the supra (mk4)

my boss was having a hard time getting all the buttons to work. like with the fan on you cant put it to feet and face and variouse wierd stuff like that

The main thing you're trying to do is replace the parts that perish, like seals. You're not attempting to change the valving. You might even be able to find somewhere that has the Tein parts/rebuild kit if you dig hard.
    • Can you also make sure the invoices on the box (And none exist in the boxes) are below our import duty limits... I jest, there's nothing I need to actually purchase and order in. (Unless you can find me a rear diff carrier, brand new, for stupidly cheap, that is for a Toyota Landcruiser, HZJ105R GXL, 2000 year model...)
    • Murphy strikes again! Nothing at all would have gone wrong if you had the tool kit in the car! You'd have just found the clamp loose the next time you went to touch it...
    • I have been being VERY quiet about what you're alluding to, as it is something that ticks me off... The number of cars from factory that run coil overs is HUGE! Most of them these days do... The other part that annoys me, is people saying "Well all the incabin adjustable suspension is illegal by blah blah blah"... If that's the case, then why can I buy a car brand new that can do it if, FULL STOP in cabin adjustable suspension is illegal...   Also, I could just chuck some aftermarket shocks in my car, throw the stock springs on, after my blue slip, dump my super low springs back in. Same shock and spring style setup... Hell, they could also be the same colour springs etc.     I'm voting, BlueSlipper didn't want to touch the above car for some reason. Whether it be some sort of bias against the car, the owner, them maybe having previously done dodgy shit and now they're being super careful in case they get slapped in the face by the Gumbyment again... Find a new blueslip place.   And can confirm as you had said, yes there are holy bibles of vehicle heights, and all sorts of other suspension stuff. Heck your run of the mill mechanic, and tyre shop has access to all of that stuff. It's how they do wheel alignments...
    • Funny story Heading to Sydney this morning on the HWY there was some slow traffic, so I gave it the beans and midway through my overtaking "power run" I lost all power It seems that I missed a hose clamp,  and the MAF and filter went WiFi To make this more problematic, the little tool kit that lives in the boot, is sitting in the sun room at Goulburn......LOL Luckily for me I found a bit of steel on the side of the road that could be used like a rusty and bent flat head screw driver to tighten it up enough that it got me into Sydney, it is now all tight like a tiger with the aid of a 8mm socket Note to self: Use my brain and double check stuff, and always keep that little tool kit in the car for when I have a brain fart
