well as the old saying goes if you have better shit than someone else they just try to fck it up.. my black monaro was parked at australia fair shops today and some low life motha fkr keyed accross the bonnet and down the side who would do that i only wish i caught them but a busy shoping centre how cant people see but if anyone heres someone talking about it let me no ..... even if i saw someone doing it to someone elses car i would catch them and run my car key as hard as i can down their back .... oh yes their will be blood...

well thats my winge for the day ... latr....

sorry to hear that cheif.

back in the day when i used to drive an 84 laser (not that it was better than any other car) i parked it and when i got back some @(!(&$(# )@*# )$*@#&* V$*@*!!! put 3 of the thickest loogies on the back window and the sides... was so disgusting. i struggled to get it off with a hose.

eww..

cheers. james.

I'm not sure what it is with Commodores and people keying them.

Years back before Imports were well known and the VS commodore was the shit I bought a near new VS 5ltr 5speed, Sherbrook green, tinted windows, lowered. It looked damn nice.

Only to have some dick key it across the back rear quarters.

I ended up selling it a year or so later, drove around in a bomb for a while then bought the R32. In 4.5-5yrs lucky it has not been keyed yet. Maybe people see them as a piece of shit so they don't bother. who knows.

My uncle then heads out and becomes a proud owner of a nice Clubsport 6speed manual. Only to park it down at the shops get it home and realise some prick has keyed it.

I'm not so sure on the young kids keying cars, I actually think its the older 20+ aged dero bogan pricks that are jealous that some other prick has a car they wish they could own, IF they get off their lazy arse and get a job, any job, maybe just maybe they could own something nice and enjoy it.

You know, i saw this at Monash uni - some brand new mx5 (the 2000 model) had been keyed with the words "rich" or something. And I point that to my friend who says "so, it only says rich". Then I ask him what if someone did that to your Jag XKR (cos he likes the xkr), and then he goes "man id be soo cut!"

The point of the story is, people dont really care about other peoples property unless it has happened to them......

my step mums brand new 2006 WRX got keyed at hurstville shops over a f**kn parking spot, she had gotten the number plate of the car causing her the trouble... when she returned to her car she noticed key scratches on the rear left pannel,my step mum (who takes no sh!t) managed to find the other car and key every single pannel and bonnet to the metal lol

i had a mate that was at a convention for his work. when he pulled up in the carpark he was sorting his shit out in his car before he hopped out when this woman pulled up next to him. she had a little kid in the back that kept open the door and hitting his car. the woman didn't pay any attention to it, and didn't come over and say sorry or anything. so after she was out of sight he hopped out and keyed "f**k you" into the side of her car.

dont even get me started on hurstville. i dont take my car into those carparks. rather park on the street.

I really hope that was the person who did it to your step mums car as if it wasent i would not be impressed at all...

It must have been, the lady got out of her car and started screaming and threatned to damage the rex ,

at the end of the day it was over a parking spot, and according to my step mum she showed no mercy ahahaha , evil bitch :P

Its jealosy pure and simple. These f*cks can't handle that we have nice cars.

I was driving home from the pub in Subiaco (I was designated driver before you ask) and pulled up at the lights at a t junction next to a P plater. As he drove off his passenger ditched an egg at my car. I've hardly ever been more angry in my life, I was going to follow them and hunt them down but it took my girlfriend of the times constant calming remarks and lots of attention in the bedroom :) to calm me down.

Sorry to hear about it dude, hope its not too bad.

Oh MAN those are bad! That's gone pretty deep, yeah?

Sorry to hear about it mate... It's one of my biggest paranoia's at the moment, and i've had a fairly bad run with my VP Berlina (before I bought the R33)... mostly break-ins and wheel-thefts.

Feel for ya buddy.. Much worse than I expected.

Get it resprayed but be sure not to drop it in a 'usual' crash repair pump shop. Take it some where that restores cars and actually has pride in the work they do. I learnt the hard way with pump shops.

    • All this talk about fuel and fancy ECUs, meanwhile my poor old R32 has neither.... When the ignition is turned on, should there be power running o the fuel pump constantly or just for the few seconds it usually takes to prime the pump? About to go have another look at it, have watched some YouTube vids on how to use a  multimeter and looked at some wiring diagrams but really have NFI what I'm looking for because electricity is invisible
    • Yuh....but weren't all the supertourers, except maybe the Audis, FWD? I don't recall any of the others being AWD.
    • They ran them in Oz Super Tourers too https://www.supertouringregister.com/register/vehicle/212/ (I'm so old I remember racing with Matthew Fox) They ran them in Oz Super Tourers too https://www.supertouringregister.com/register/vehicle/212/ (I'm so old I remember racing with Matthew Fox)

    • Yeah, hard to find and a pain in the ass to change with the transverse engine. I’ve worked on a GTiR before and it’s not a job I’d ever want to do again. theres a company in South Africa that makes RS3 gearbox adaptors for the AWD SR20 including gearbox mounts, so I could modernise it and go a dual clutch with paddles. For now tho, it ticks all the boxes. Super cheap, can throw the kids and their junk in the back, and SR20 that I can turbo cheaply, a CVT that’s not a dog’s breakfast like the V35, and has 80% interchangeable parts with stuff I can source from the wreckers cheaply…. But it’s still unique. I love the wagon back of the Autech version. It’s cheap enough that I can buy another stock manual FWD Primera with SR20VE, swap the gearbox to the N15 pulsar short gear ratio box, swap out the brakes to the R32 ones I pulled off my 32, register it on club plates and take it racing. $1300 shipping from NZ. Heaps of parts and aftermarket builders for transverse SR20’s in NZ.
