Another great dinner guys, thanks to all who showed up. Those highway patrol cops deserved some recognition - top blokes, especially knowledgable on their GTR's and of course their ownage of Tosh (Twice) was priceless.

I started to PM everyone the link, but now I can't be bothered. :)

Anyways, if anyone didn't realise, there are a couple of galleries on my webspace:

Nick, let Johno know there's some pics of his car there (if you haven't already).

Cheers,

Cheers. We'll have to scope some more areas to take photos, maybe get some sunset beachside ones (as I was talking to Tosh about earlier today).

Maybe an industrial area at twilight? Somewhere with stairs so shots can be taken from above would be hella sweet...

Anyway, if you've got any ideas let me know. :)

Tex

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
