Car is a jzx100 Toyota Chaser

1997 model

Auto

White

1JZ-GTE VVTi

174,000km's

17 inch Kakimoto rims

Toyota optioned body kit, consists of side skirts and read bar (VERY EXPENSIVE)

Car come into Australia TOTALLY stock bar from some 17inch rims

Now has Blitz FMIC intercooler (which cost me an excessive amount to fit as i didnt want ANY of the metal cut in the engine bay, so it's totally LEGAL)

Blitz ID3 Boost controller

Apexi Turbo timer

Timing belt done 300km's ago

Pod filter (also have stock air box with oem filter)

Stereo is the standard Toyota SAT/NAV(not working in aus as yet)/AM/FM radio/CD player/TV. The radio works all stations. The sound out of this stereo blows me away. I bought an amp and speakers to put in this car, but it doesn't need it. Great sound :)

**(Power FC, HKS Exhaust and 18inch Work rims available at extra cost)**

This car is in Fantastic condition, it was auction grade 4. The body as some minor blemishes but nothing to worry about, The car still drives like new. Everyone that has been in it falls in love with the ride quality and the power of the 'WON JAY ZEE". The car was dyno'd at 155rwkw with the boost it bumped up to 175rwkw @ 12.5 psi. With an exhaust it would most likely crack 200rwkw with enough torque to suck u into the back seat.

Car is a true sleeper, and not like most which are just asleep.

Car will come with rego of over 9 months and RWC.

Price : $25000ono * $22000ono*

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
