WooHoo! Another Mclarens win! :)

Gotta feel for Jordan though, I reckon it would've made little difference if they won and they need it. Hehe.. and the car was on fire afterwards, must've been pissed off about the results.

As much as I'd love to see Mark Webber get maxium points from every GP, I hate this 2 lap countback rule, honestly, a car which has caused a reg flag accident and can't be driven shouldn't be awarded points in my humble opinon.

Well, if he had started his 56th lap, there is no question that the countback is to lap 54..and he wins.

I've finished a number of races under red flag, and it always shits me that I didn't get to make that one last move on the car in front....and red flag rules (at least in Aus) are implemented so poorly, no-one ever knows if it will be declared at previous lap, restart on current lap, restart race etc etc. One time at Oran Park last year we waited 20 min while the stewards stuffed around deciding what to do - we could have done the whole race again in that time!

Red flag is a bad, bad feeling...but i personally find the green with a yellow chevron worse...

Nothing like getting a perfect start and seeing that MF flag a few flag points down the track.....Or the red and white chequed

 green & yellow?

red flags shit me coz drivers know they can take advantage of it.

one example from last season. Pole sitter gets bad start, so makes overly aggresive move down the inside of 3rd & 4th into turn 2 at Oran Park. Smacks into 3rd place car, both spin, they end up nose to nose in the middle of the track. 2nd place starter is miles ahead due to the accident.

Both kill engines and say they can't move. Since track is blocked, race is red flagged. Since it is first lap, there is a full restart, including dcikhead being back in pole to try again.

In AKA Sprint Karts, if the start has deemed to be unfair or someone has jumped it they put out a green flag with yellow chevrons to indicate to slow down and reform on the track in your starting postions (karts have a rolling start.)

I think your pole sitter might be watching too much F1..LOL...

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
