CD Stacker Help

hey guy it's my first post just wanted to ask you a question if you may know .

I bought my line about 6 months ago and it came with a dodgy "Kenwood" CD stacker and planning on buying a new one a different brand just wondering if all cd stacker are all compatible with different head units

nope. brand must match brand. that said buy another kenwood unit with CD control and go. ( KDCMP5033 would be my pick.)

do you think I would have to replace the kenwood head unit aswell cause i'm postive it came from japan when the car got imported here...

you can do that if you wish. cheap way out (if it works fine.) is to get a band expander ($29) and chuck that inline with the antena so the radio works.

if its died - swap the radio with a local one- I had a customer today that did this with a pioneer unit. jap unit died had a 12cd behind it. so we put a local 5850 in it's place.
