hey people, just took off my apexi pod kit of the 32gtr, looking to jus get a hi flow panel filter.. however i came across a blitz induction cover + blitz SUSPOWER filter.

heres the link:

any comments/experiences?.. design seems similar to an ARC box (for 1/4 the price as well), but for only 1 entry near the cold air feed for the gtr i guess?

ive always looked at pod air fitlers needing a heat shield with CAI route. but for the ARC box & this blitz induction kit, wouldnt the panel filter be just like an unshielded pod filter sucking in engine heat?.

thanks

yeah, with the cover you pretty much end up with the same thing as the ARC airbox, only it's not as shiny, and no where near as heavy. Plus the ARC box does have a little tiny filter on the front of the box which your set-up wont have. I had an ARC box on my GTR for a little while and not a huge fan. mainly because it's bloody heavy, and the replacement filters are crazy expensive and it's still just sucking in hot air from your engine bay, but on top of that the whole thing acts like a heatsink and absorbs heat from the engine bay. for now i'm just using apexi pods and will one day get a nice shield made for them.
