Snapped Studs?

Hey everyone.

Today when i was attempting to bolt on my new high mount turbo manifold which i had made a while

back, i discovered the people that made it to suit my car, snapped one of the threaded rods in the engine.

another one looks like they've gone at it with a grinder. cut bout 3mm of it back. wtf? And theres a third one

that just missing all together. i dare not to ask. lol

Long story short, i need to drill it out i guess. Who can i get to do that? And how much will it cost?

I was thinking bout taking them all out and just using bolts rather than the threaded rods with nuts.

Is that ok to do?

Also i bought a greddy plenum for my r33 rb25det, with the q45 throttle body, but i need to get the 4 bolts to fix the tb to the plenum. Where's the best place to get these.

Some days, cars are just frustrating, lol.

Thanks peoples.

Guesty

Sorry to bring this thread back up, but wondering if anyone know where to get the bolts for the manifold, the ones that attach the manifold to the block??

Thanks Rob

Hey Rob,

U can get the bolts/studs from a nissan dealership.

From wat i know all rb engines use the same ones.

From wat i was told there about $3 each.

If u need them installed, the thread doctor does a fantastic job.

his number is 0419 507 633.

Cheers.
