Hey Darron

I need one for my R34 GT-T what do you think is the best exhaust for power?

Mick

Thanks for the pm Mick, I have just replied to you.

I am in Japan at the moment and have just packed a container so we expect to have some HKS Hi-Power systems for ER34 and BNR34 landed in around 3 weeks.

Cheers,

Steve

Can you get the Trust Power extreme 2 for a R33 GTR if so how much delivered to adelaide?

Hi mate, yes we certainly can.

We also have the HKS Hi-Power systems in stock now ready for pickup and dispatch

Pm sent regarding post.

Cheers,

Steve :P

Hi mate, thanks for your enquiry.

The HKS Hi-Power systems use SUH409 coated steel piping with an SUS304 grade stainless rear muffler.

Unlike other untreated/uncoated mild steel systems, the HKS Hi-Power does offer long lasting durability.

Regarding sound, the Trust Power Extreme II's are renowned for having a great note at open throttle, while being quite quiet at idle and relatively drone free - I would say the HKS Hi-Power would have a slightly more agressive note.

We would expect similar power gains with both the HKS and Trust Systems :)

Cheers,

Steve

Will either the HKS or Trust fit a 4 door R33?

Thanks

Both the Trust Power Extreme II and HKS Hi-Power will fit on 2 or 4 door R33 GTS-T

We have both systems in stock now ready for immediate delivery and pickup.

Cheers,

Steve

What is the difference between the hi-power and silent hi-power? and is the silent hi-power going to be available for skylines?

The Hi-Power silent is a super quiet version of the Hi-Power.

We only have the Silent version available for S15 at the moment - We can supply them for Skylines however they would be ex-Japan.

For the money, if you were looking for a quiet cat back exhaust, its difficult to go past the Trust Power Extreme II - All our customers who are using them absolutely swear buy them.

Cheers,

Steve

gday steve,

after an exhaust for 34 gtr ASAP

which is the loudest and lightest and makes most power?

cheers

Hi mate, if you are specifically searching for the lightest and loudest, I would be recommending the Trust TI-R titanium system which is available in either 80 or 90mm. Extremely light weight with a fantastic note to it.

Generally speaking, the larger diameter piping is usually better, however the size you choose/need really depends on your cars level of modification.

Please note we supply the TI-R on special order only due to their price.

Drop me a pm if you would like any further information.

Cheers,

Steve

hi,

Just wondering does the trust PE II have the same performance gains as the HKS and the only difference is the exhaust note? Im after a quite exhaust but not substitute performance

hi,

Hi Jie, yes thats basically it. We have sold a number of Trust PE II's and our customers only have good things to say about them.

On a typically modified street car, I would say performance gains would be very comparable between the two.

Cheers,

Steve :ninja:

These systems are selling very fast - Please get your order in quickly if you wish to secure one of these Trust or HKS exhaust systems for your vehicle.

Thanks all

Steve

Hi justjap, interested in a trust PE II cat back system for an r32 gtst.

Do you guys fit exhausts, and at what price? Or do you have ties with any shops that will fit for a cheaper price? I am told there is kirrawee exhausts around the corner from you.

Hi mate, unfortunately we dont offer a fitting service however any exhaust shop should be able to fit the system up within 30 minutes. The Trust cat back systems are very very easily to install.

Steve

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
